Meet the Camp Contributors
Meet our passionate and knowledgeable camp mentors. In addition to Marian, Provi, & Emily, your campers will hear from presenters all across the fashion industry.
Marian Goldberg
Founder/Co-Director of Camp Fashionista
An International Business Major at UGA, Marian started her career after college in Finance, while working at Neiman Marcus part time. It became evident where her true passion lied. After this epiphany, she started as a Wholesale Sales Representative for Christian Dior and Burberry jewelry southeast, traveling 10 states, eventually moving into more brands and areas of expertise. When Liz Claiborne created a merchandising program, Marian ran the southeast and Puerto Rico for 5 accessories divisions, managing over 100 employees. She then became National Sales Manager for Waterford Linens, before shifting into Retail Management with jewelry greats like David Yurman, Tiffany and Co and Cartier. Given her passion for the community and creating unique experiences for clients, she became the Southeast Regional Director of events & experiences for Saks Fifth Avenue.
Having a fun idea to entertain a friend's visiting nieces, Marian put together a luxury experience for them one day. This sparked the idea of Camp Fashionista. If she was to write her own experience as her younger self, this is what she would want to do with her summer. The idea grew and when speaking with her friend of 18 years, Provi , they went on to create a week-long agenda that would encompass almost all aspects of the fashionable world from an insider's perspective.
Marian is a Consultant to brands on creating charitable partnerships and how to broaden their community engagements. Marian is a proud aunt, godmother and dog mom. She spends much of her time serving on charitable boards, committees and volunteering her time to multiple organizations, including Atlanta Humane Society, Dress for Success, Covenant House, Open Hand, and more.
